One air sample
Collected from the area selected during the on-site evaluation.
Clear answers before a bigger decision
We come to you for an on-site evaluation with one air sample, one surface sample, and laboratory analysis—plus photos, measurements, and written findings.
Simple from the first call
You do not need to know the mold type or the size of the problem before calling.
Tell us what you see, smell, or recently repaired. We’ll ask a few practical questions.
We confirm the address, access, affected area, recent water events, and whether you already have a report.
We come to the property, document the concern, take the included samples, and send them for lab analysis.
We explain what the results mean and route any work according to project size, scope, and Texas licensing rules.
What the $199 includes
The purpose of the visit is to answer the first questions clearly: Is mold indicated? What did the included samples show? Where is the visible or suspected moisture-affected area? What should happen next?
Johnson Services selects the laboratory at its discretion based on the property’s location, availability, and the fastest practical turnaround. Exact turnaround times are not guaranteed.

Photos and measurements help define the apparent affected area.
A clear record of the observations, lab results, and recommended route.
The right lane for your project
Texas rules can require independent assessment and remediation roles on the same project. We keep the handoff understandable.
I need testing
Johnson Services performs the visit, sampling, documentation, and findings. If regulated remediation is indicated, we route you to an independent qualified provider and can share your authorized records.

Straight answers
A mold concern can become expensive quickly. The first visit should make the next decision easier—not pressure you into one.
An on-site evaluation, one air sample, one surface sample, laboratory analysis, photo documentation, affected-area measurements, and written findings. Additional samples are only collected with your prior approval and may cost extra.
Timing depends on sample type, lab availability, transport, weekends, and holidays. Johnson Services chooses among available laboratories at its discretion to obtain the fastest practical result, but no exact turnaround time is guaranteed.
No. Testing and remediation are separate services and may need to be performed by independent providers. Any credit toward eligible later work must be stated in that provider’s separate written agreement and is available only where legally permitted.
We document the apparent area and review the results. Work outside Johnson Services’ authorized scope is referred to an appropriately licensed independent remediation provider. With your permission, your photos, measurements, and results can help make that handoff faster.
Johnson Services does not perform both regulated mold assessment and regulated mold remediation on the same project. If Johnson Services performs the regulated testing or assessment, remediation is routed to an independent qualified provider as required.
All remediation services require a separate written agreement. Unless that agreement says otherwise, a 50% deposit is due by cash, check, Zelle, or another approved cash equivalent, and the remaining balance is due when the contracted service is completed.
